Rimi sat in her living room, staring at the phone in disbelief. The detective had called earlier that morning to inform her that her husband had been arrested on suspicion of a crime. She couldn’t believe it. Why would they arrest him? He had always been so careful, always following the rules.
As the detective was leaving, he told Rimi that she should go about her day as usual, and that her husband would be released soon. Rimi nodded, trying to maintain a semblance of composure, but inside she was panicking. She had no idea what was going on.
