It was a quiet afternoon in the small town of Kawagoe, a few months after Naoki’s father had brought Ami home. Naoki and his new wife, Ami, had settled into a routine, and the three of them had become a happy family.
But one day, Naoki noticed something was off. Ami seemed distant and withdrawn, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. He asked her about it, and she broke down in tears.
It turned out that Ami had always hoped to have a family of her own, but now that she was married to Naoki and had a child with him, she felt like she had given up on that dream. She was lonely and sad, and she felt like she was living a life that wasn’t hers.
Naoki was taken aback by Ami’s words, and he felt guilty for not realizing how she was feeling. But he also knew that he loved her and wanted to do everything he could to make her happy.
So he did what he could to show Ami that he cared. He spent more time with her, listened to her problems, and did his best to make her feel like she was a valuable part of the family. And as the days went by, Ami began to feel more connected to her family and to her new life.
