Yuri’s heart ached at the thought of being separated from her son, a feeling that consumed her every day. She couldn’t help but long for his warm embrace and the sound of his laughter. With her husband’s debts forcing them apart, Yuri felt more alone than ever. In an attempt to find some solace, she sets off for a hot spring where legend has it that you can be reunited with the person you are searching for.
As she arrives at the inn, Yuri is greeted by a kind male tourist. Over a drink, she opens up to him about her son and their heartbreaking separation. To her surprise, the tourist reveals himself to be her long-lost son, Kenji.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Yuri apologizes for abandoning him and explains the circumstances that led to their separation. However, Kenji holds a deep grudge against his mother and is not ready to forgive her just yet.
