After three years of marriage to my lovely wife Marina, I realized that I had become a transfer family, and would be moving once again this year. In order to lessen the burden of the move, I reached out to Mr. Ozawa, who was a senior of ours and happened to work at a moving company. I remembered his kindness from my student days and hoped he would help us out this time.
As we were moving, I couldn’t shake off the feeling of dissatisfaction that crept in when I noticed my wife resting in between the move. It pained me to see her work so hard, while I was busy supervising the move. However, I couldn’t help but compare our situation to that of Mr. Ozawa and his wife, who seemed aloof and distant from each other on the day of the move. Despite their age and experience, they seemed to have a disconnect between them.
