Kaho had always known that her husband, Shuichi, was different from most men. He was quiet and introverted, preferring to spend his days at home, reading and writing. But she had loved him for who he was, and never had a reason to doubt his commitment to their marriage.
But things changed when Shuichi quit his job and returned to live with his parents. Kaho was alone in their small apartment, and the quiet of the house was suffocating. She longed for the company of another person, and turned to her father-in-law, Toru, for comfort.
At first, Kaho and Toru merely spent time together as friends. But as they spent more time together, Kaho began to feel something more for Toru. She found herself spending more and more time with him, and her feelings grew stronger with each passing day.
Kaho knew that she was taking a risk by falling in love with Toru. She knew that it would hurt her husband, Shuichi, who had always been so devoted to her. But she couldn’t help it. She was drawn to Toru’s warmth and kindness, and she found herself wanting to be with him more and more.
Whenย Kaho and Toru’s relationship deepened, Shuichi began to notice. He was puzzled by the changes in his wife, and he was hurt and angry when he realized what was happening. He tried to talk to Kaho, but she refused to listen. She was in love with Toru, and nothing could change that.
Shuichi was heartbroken. He had always thought of himself as a good husband, but now he realized that he had been blind to Kaho’s needs. He had taken her for granted, and now it was too late. Kaho had fallen in love with another man, and there was nothing he could do to make it right.
