Flowers and Snakes is a tale about the awakening of a shy and introverted young girl, Tsukino Shizuku, who is caught in the middle of two wealthy men’s twisted rivalry. On one side, there is the charming and manipulative Soujiro, a man who has been her darkest fantasy ever since she was a child, and on the other, there is the cold and mysterious Tรดru, a man who seems to be able to unravel every dark secret she has ever hidden.
As Tsukino Shizuku is drawn further into their world, she finds herself constantly pulled between the two men, who use her as a pawn in their dangerous games. At the same time, she is also struggling with her own inner desires and the moral implications of her actions.
Through the vivid descriptions of the scents and sights of the flowers and snakes, the author, Marin Asaoka, paints a picture of the complex and twisted relationships between the characters.
