When the couple, Tono and Miho, decided to go back to Tono’s parents’ house, Miho couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. There was something off about her father-in-law, Shigeo. She didn’t know what it was, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that he was hiding something. Miho couldn’t understand why Tono’s family insisted on living together with his parents, but she had no say in the matter.
Miho confided in her husband, Kazushige, about her concerns, hoping he could shed some light on the situation. However, his response was dismissive and unhelpful. This only added to Miho’s worries and made her wonder if she would ever feel comfortable living with her in-laws. She couldn’t shake the feeling that Shigeo was hiding something and she was determined to find out what it was.
