Yuna walked into her father-in-law’s house, carrying a basket of fresh vegetables from her garden. She had come to visit her father-in-law, Toru, who had been injured in a recent accident. Toru had been a close friend of her husband’s family, and Yuna had always enjoyed spending time with him.
As she entered the living room, she was surprised to see Toru sitting on the couch, surrounded by stacks of books and papers. Toru’s injury had left him unable to work, and he had taken to reading as a way to pass the time.
Yuna sat down next to Toru and started chatting with him about the latest news in the village. Toru was a very intelligent and knowledgeable man, and Yuna enjoyed hearing his stories and insights.
As the day went on, Yuna started noticing that Toru was becoming more and more agitated. He would get up from his seat and pace around the room, muttering to himself. Yuna knew that Toru had been struggling since his wife had passed away five years ago, and she was worried that he might be falling into a deep depression.
